Auxvasse Review
August 10, 1921

Henry Maus, stepfather of Hughes and Harris Maupin, of Auxvasse, died at his home in Montgomery City, Mo, Sunday morning. He was about 80 years of age and an ex Confederate soldier. The deceased was one of Montgomery's best and most substantial citizens.

Poole and Hensely Family of Oklahoma

I am searching for family contact information for the following individuals:

Mrs. Maude Poole family of Vinita, Oklahoma (1923)

Mrs. Pearl Hensley family of Strang, Oklahoma (1923)

Maude and Pearl are the adopted daughters, foster daughters, or the stepdaughters of Mary Elizabeth (Scholl) Maupin Maus and Henry Maus.

Another newspaper article mentions that Maude Pool was "here to attend the funeral of her foster mother, Mrs. Mary E. Maus."
