Minot N D Oct 15—Sheriff W E Slaybaugh of Minot has joined with Sheriff James Scholl of McHenry county in investigating the burglarizing of the Muus Bros store at Oranvillo, 24 miles east of Minot.

Not until the boy was threatened with death, did the elder Krim reveal the hiding place of his money. Although previously reported as $2,000, the loot actually obtained amounted to $1,100. Sheriff James Scholl of McHenry county said today.

To Question Bannon About Old Murder
Minot, N. D, Jan. 28 – Sheriff James Scholl, Towner, has revealed he plans to question James F. Bannon, held on a charge of implication in the sextuple slaying of the Raven family near Schafer, concerning the death of a woman in McHenry county 18 years ago.
The aged woman, according to Sheriff Scholl, died under what were considered suspicious circumstances at the time. She lived on a farm in the Norwich vicinity, about two miles from Bannon 's farm, the sheriff said. Her body was found in the ruins of her burned shack.

After an investigation of circumstances surrounding the death, this morning, Police Chief O’Leary instructed James Scholl, sheriff of McHenry county, to apprehend a man who was in Minot Tuesday and who is known to have visited and talked with Mrs. Korchenko.
