Buck Brown was born June 6 1926 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma to Samuel and Waynie (Newcomb) Brown. He departed this life on May 8, 2006 at the age of 79 years 11 months and 2 days.
Buck had lived most of his lifetime in Salina and Mayes County. He was a self-employed drywall and finisher. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Navy. Buck liked to hunt and go fishing.
Buck is survived by 1 daughter Rhonda Brown of Beaumont, Texas, grandchildren Todd Allen and Madison Page, special friend Becky Shamblin of Salina and nephew Jerry Castoe and wife Tina of Pryor.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Waynie (Newcomb) Brown, sister Ida Brown, sister Lea Richards, sister Ruth Jackson, brother Sammy Brown, sister Jewell Brown, brother Cecil Brown, sister Leah Richards, brother Homer Brown, sister Jean Matthews, sister Maeritis Carter, brother Dick Brown, sister Mary Brown, sister Claudine Hensely, brother Richard Hensely, brother Billy Brown, brother Seth Hensely.
