Frances Swanson had always been a fighter but ended her fight with cancer Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at her home. She lived in San Luis Obispo County for over 40 years and always had a need and desire to help those less fortunate than herself. Frances is survived by her husband of 33 years, Rodney Swanson; five daughters Brenda Hutchings, Carol Burchard, Crystal Butler, Ruth Swanson and Judy Swanson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; and many friends. A memorial service will be held for Frances at noon Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at the Paso Robles Moose Lodge, 2548 Spring St. in Paso Robles.
