Milton Armstrong of Auxvasse 47, Dies Here
Milton Armstrong, of Auxvasse, 47 years of age, died at Audrain Hospital, Sunday morning, having been at the hospital about a week. His wife and brothers were with him at the time of his death and accompanied his remains to Auxvasse for funeral services.

M. Armstrong of Callaway Dies Sunday
Funeral Services for Prominent Resident Held Monday at Home Near Auxvasse
Milton Armstrong of near Auxvasse, prominent Callaway county resident, who was well known in this section died at the Audrain Hospital at 2:50 o'clock Sunday morning at the age of 47. He had been in ill health for several months, and last week underwent an operation.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home near Auxvasse and were conducted by the Reverend Mr. Wood. Burial was made in the Auxvasse Cemetery. Among those from here who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bishop and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Murray and Mrs F.W. Bishop of Moberly and C.D. Armstrong of Fairbault, Minn. who are vising at the Bishop home here.
Mr. Armstrong was a life long resident of Callaway, having been born May 17, 1882, near Shamrock. He was the son of the late Shelton Armstrong and Mrs. Armstrong, well known Callaway residents. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ora Deardorff Armstrong, a 5-year-old son Billy Glenn, his mother, Mrs. Mag Armstrong of Shamrock, and two brothers, W.F. Armstrong of Shamrock and John Armstrong of Bachelor.
