Glenn Maupin motored to Kansas City Sunday to spend a few days with friends He was accompanied by his sister, Miss Melba Maupin, who is returning to her work in Miami, Okla., after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes Maupin.

AUXVASSE, Nov. 28—(Special) —The 55-acre farm, known as the Gus Moore place, two miles southwest of here, has been purchased by Hughes Maupin of the Maupin Furniture and Undertaking Co. Maupin will get immediate possession of the place.

FULTON (Special) — Quarterback Gene Maupin was the whole show here last night as the Fulton Hornets defeated the Missouri School for the Deaf for their second victory of the season,
19-13. Maupin scored two touchdowns and passed to Wayne Maddox, end, for a third. He also ran the extra point. Maupin scored the winning touchdown in the final two minutes.
